Gajar ka Halwa

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Manglam Ghee
  • 1 ltr Full Cream Manglam Milk
  • 1 kg Grated Carrots
  • 25 gms Chopped Kaju (Cashew nuts)
  • 25 gms Kishmish (Raisins)
  • How to make Gajar ka Halwa

    Mix carrots and milk in a pan, bring to a boil. Cook on low flame, stirring occasionally, until milk dries up.
    Add MANGLAM GHEE and cook for another 10 minutes. Garnish your gajar ka halwa with cashew nuts and raisins, and serve hot.

    Kesar Kheer

    Kesar kheer is one of the desserts that ideal for every family get-togethers. Here is the recipe for Kesar kheer with Mangalam Milk.

    Ingredients:

  • 1 ½ liter of Mangalam milk
  • 1 cup rice, washed and soaked in water
  • ½ tsp of Kesar mixed in half a cup of Mangalam milk
  • ½ cup of almonds, chopped
  • ½ cup of pistachios, chopped
  • ¼ cup of cashew nuts
  • Few drops of yellow food color
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • How to make Kesar Kheer

    Take Mangalam milk in a heavy-bottomed vessel and bring it to boil.
    Lower the flame, add the soaked rice, and cook it uncovered for 20-25 minutes. Keep stirring continuously.
    Add all the nuts and cook for another 20 minutes on low heat.
    Add the food color, soaked Kesar, and sugar. Cook for another 3 to 4 minutes.
    Turn off the flame and let it come to room temperature.
    Keep it in the refrigerator and allow the kheer to cool.
    Garnish with sliced almonds.
    Serve chilled.
